“We were looking for a luxury wedding venue, suitable for a microwedding and stumbled across Casterton Grange Estate during our internet search.

During our research, we were struck by how wonderful the Estate looked in the photos but when we arrived in person for our first site visit, the grandeur and beauty of Casterton Grange was absolutely captivating and we fell in love with it straight away – the venue is even more breathtaking in real life and we immediately knew it was the one for us!

20 of our nearest and dearest travelled from across the globe for the occasion and stayed at Casterton for 3 days – it provided the picture perfect, quintessential English setting for our wedding stay.

We loved the fact that as a venue, Casterton oozed luxury, but felt homely, cosy and intimate at the same time.

Also, Casterton was able to provide the exclusivity and flexibility of space that we were looking for, so that our guests had the freedom of space to relax and enjoy in privacy and also so that we could make the most of different spaces for different elements of our mixed cultural wedding.

It was also a pleasure to work with Anneka and Team CG. They really were the Dream Team and helped us bring our wedding vision to life! Anneka is a great host and was a huge support from beginning to end, from suggesting some incredible suppliers to work with us, to helping us set up and coordinate our wedding on the day seamlessly. Holly was also a ray of sunshine during our stay and was always on hand to help with anything we asked.

“Casterton Grange is now a place that will be cemented in our memories for the rest of our lives, and we are so grateful we found this beautiful venue for our wedding day. We planned our wedding from abroad and were only able to see the venue in photos and FaceTime beforehand, so we knew that it looked beautiful, but seeing it in person was an entirely different experience. Using the word “magical” is an understatement, it was literally heaven. We found ourselves constantly pinching ourselves, believing we were living out a real life fairytale throughout the time we spent there.

Each room was so comfortable and our guests could not stop raving about how wonderful the accommodations and property were. We also loved that our entire group could stay on the property and that we could enjoy the celebrations over multiple days, allowing us to have the relaxed feel we were hoping for. From the Snooker table, to the patio, to the pond, and even the extended grounds with the horses, we had so much fun exploring and taking in every moment with our favorite people.

On top of the breathtaking beauty of the grounds and accommodations, Anneka and her team welcomed us into her home and made us feel like family. Holly and Anneka were there to help us with anything we needed, and our day would not have been near as special without their help and guidance. Each vendor she recommended, including catering, photographer, etc. were so incredible to work with and we could not be happier with how everything turned out.

We made a weekend of it and loved having all 30 of our guests stay for the entire weekend, which gave us plenty of time to make the most of the full estate and do loads of activities – archery, tennis, badminton, garden games, snooker, hot-tubs, yoga, wild swimming, country walks, and even a murder mystery! Everyone was blown away by how beautiful the house, cottages and grounds are. Everything feels so luxurious (like the world’s most comfortable bedding!) but still somehow completely homely and unpretentious.

We got married outside on the terrace, with the most beautiful aisle through the garden. It all felt so natural and intimate – just perfect! Then we had our drinks reception surrounded by flowers in the walled garden, followed by dinner in the wonderfully light & bright dining room (catered by Foray – absolute superstars, recommended by Anneka). We then danced the night away in the orangery. It was a perfect day, within a perfect weekend.

Anneka was fantastic – she found us some wonderful suppliers and made sure everything ran perfectly down to the last detail, even fluffing my dress before I walked down the aisle! Her eye for style is fabulous – you can completely trust her to make everything look amazing. Holly was also on hand to help in any way possible – doing the behind the scenes jobs to keep the house looking great all weekend, and always lovely to chat to!
